Getting There
Getting
to Belle Ile is relatively easy and although there is more than one port
in Brittany that goes there, the best is probably Quiberon. You can
visit the ferry company's website
http://www.compagnie-oceane.fr/fr/ Currently the website is
reasonably easy to understand and you can book online. They are
promising an English Version soon!
The vehicle ferry takes about
45minutes - the passenger only ferry takes about 20 minutes.
We would strongly recommend
that you go as foot passengers - the cost of transporting your car is
expensive and you will not really need it on the island ( Which is 12
miles x 4 miles in size)
